Anyone here been diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis? Is this part of the RA disease or just a lucky addition? Any one have back surgery for it? If so how long were you out of the game?

The Radio Frequency Ablation, RFA or nerve burning...They put you under but no surgery. It is supposed to last 9 months-a yr. and I am going on 2 yrs. now with no pain. Best thing I ever did. I had a laminectomy yrs. ago with success for a few yrs. but it came back with RA and stenosis or narrowing of the spinal column or for me the lumbar spine. Love & prayers for you.

That seems to be what I am hearing. Back pain doesn't improve with surgery. Does it at least stop the issue from progressing or becoming more serious?

I had 3 level lumbar fusion...spinal stenosis...degenerative disc...arthritis. I was out of the game for 3 months, my back pain is no better....probably worse. Surgery was 4 years ago. Just started symptoms of RA so unsure if any of my back pain was actually related to RA or not. I hope you get pain relief with whatever treatment you choose.
