A chronic sinus infection shockingly is what lead them to my ra diaginosis. Im on two allergy meds together zyrtec and singulair, that seems to help. And when bad anti histimine nasal spray and nasacort. Im also on breo 200mg and a nebulizer as needed for breathing bc of asthma

I have problems with my teeth. I brush and floss them twice a day and still get cavities. Frustrating.

I've had trouble with my teeth, too. Shortly before diagnosis, I went to dentist and he was shocked to see how many cavities I had all of a sudden. I don't have the greatest teeth but I take good care of them and go to dentist regularly so this was a surprise for both of us.

But sinus' have been okay except very, very dry nose. I use a saline solution every day and actually put a small amount of coconut oil on a Qtip and run it around the inside of my nostrils. Okay, okay, might sound weird but it really works for moisturizing AND coconut oil has lots of anti viral and anti infection elements. So far it's working really well for me and I haven't caught any of the many cold viruses going around. yet. Hopefully it keeps working.

I had a turbinectomy for my sinuses because I always had one side that I could not breathe through. It is a simple out patient procedure and I chose not to be put to sleep for it. It helps create more space in the sinuses to breathe. I had my sinuses constantly inflamed. Recovery time was less than a week and it made a difference since nasal sprays failed. About a year after, my issues are back. They are not as bad as before but still hard to breathe on the same side.

I was prescribed Zyrtec in the morning, Singular at night and use a prescription nasal spray twice daily. It has helped GREATLY!! "knock on wood" - no sinus infections so far!
