I got cortisone shots in both knees about 36 hours ago. My knees are terribly sore. Anyone have experience with this? When can I expect some improvement? Thank you.

I've gotten them in my knees twice. It took 4 days to kick in but after that I didn't feel pain for another 6 months. Keep heat on them and massage them and hopefully that will help some

Hey - I've had cortisone shots in my knees. It takes a few days and lasts for a while - probably dependent on your condition.

I've gotten them before and got good results .Unfortunately I had so many attacks on my knees , that I have to wear protective sleeves most all the time . My Specialist says that I'm not anywhere ready for knee replacements . That is hard to believe ! God bless
