A friend with severe psoriatic arthritis was just turned in to hemp oil...2 drops twice a day. No THC in it so no euphoric feeling. She said her swelling is so much better and pain. She is amazed at how much better she is.

I am starting to use hemp CBD oil today so let's hope it helps. Just picked it up yesterday. I've done a lot of research as I originally looked at it for my dogs seizures. Through all my reading I noticed all the results people wrote of in reviews and studies regarding inflammation (and many other things). Not sure how long until I see results but I'll keep you posted.

Yes but the symptoms are what we are using pain meds for on top of our arthritis medicines that contain the progression of the disease. That's my worry.

I have tried both CBD and THC. I can't say for certain if I benefit much from them other than help in sleeping. I prefer the CBD over the THC as I no longer like the high from cannabis.

Is hemp oil the same as cannabis oil? I was recommended cannabis oil but when speaking to my rheum, she expressed concern about dementia with long-term use.

Just remember that this is helping with the symptoms but not the disease itself.
