Members shared mixed experiences with alternative medicine for arthritis, with many finding modest relief from turmeric, tart cherry juice, and ginger while emphasizing the importance of researching potential interactions with prescribed medications. Several members described success with medical cannabis or CBD oil for pain management, though dosage guidance and legal access remain barriers, while one member achieved remission through acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and CBD after expressing concerns about long-term biologic use. A recurring theme was the value of an anti-inflammatory diet, particularly eliminating nightshades and gluten, with members acknowledging that alternative approaches offer temporary relief and require personalized experimentation to find what works best for each individual.

I became certified as an Integrative Nutrition Counselor as part of my healing process. I knew in my heart that my diet and nutritional intake was contributing to my poor health, and even though 4 of my doctors told me diet had nothing to do with my disease, I pushed forward and have explored nearly every alternative there is. That said, homeopathy has NOT played a big part in my healing, but nutritional intake and lots of supplementation has done miracles for me. It's all about finding what works for each person, because we're all different.

I went to a Homepathic doctor for the psoriasis because my life was becoming a medical appointment for it She clear it up in six weeks and it never came back. My rheum then suggested I do not have psoriatic arthritis but another form. My hands and back however still need help
