I was always getting sick with Humira, had to stop it all together. Of course I am sensitive to meds so it is hard for me to take any. I try to go more natural, until I have a bad flair and need something just for that moment.
@A myRAteam Member, I've always injected in my stomach, it's my last 2 injections that I have had a problem with hives. Humira has worked very well for me. Hopefully I can continue to use it.
I've been taking Humira for more than 2 years and have had no allergic reactions. I started giving the injections in my thigh, which was so very painful. I thought giving them in my stomach area sounded awful, but in fact it is much easier. Of course I have fat in that area, if you don't, then you might not agree.
I'm on Enbrel injections now. Still get very tired and achy if I do too much and depress if it continue for too long.
