I have found this works better for me than other treatments- would like to hear what holistic treatments others have tried and if they have helped.

I just got diagnosed so do not have much experience yet. However I am really not liking the drug side effects so have been looking for alternatives too. So far I have found some luck with exercise and diet. The treadmill hurts but does make my feet feel better afterwards. Squeezing stress balls also hurts but my fingers feel better afterwards. Better eating like fish instead of steak and salads with dark greens for lunch. I also quit things like caffeine. All of this has been a 180 for me. My body does feel better though. What do you do?

What Is the name of the drink? I drink Zija every morning which helped me go into remission for a few years. It is made from moringa. I learned the hard way and by no means a super hero. I have been through every class Of drug out there for RA and either became allergic or the side effects were too severe. Once I had experienced remission thru holistic methods it is either stick to it or go back to feeling awful. There really is no choice. You are actually not that far from me...I live in Floyds knobs, Indiana. Do you ever come to the Louisville metro area? I have found some great holistic doctors here but they were not easy to find.

Wow! You know your stuff. Thank you very much for being so specific. I am very envious of your ability to avoid toxins. You are a true inspiration. You have given me hope that there are things out there besides all of these medications that can help. The thing I like best so far is a drink made from 99.8% aloe vera that my friend with cancer recommended. I drink 4-8 oz per day. I look forward to trying the treatments you mentioned as well. You are a super hero.

I guess it be more of a question of what I don't do- I currently do vitamin C IVs, ozone treatments, neurotherapy, holistic immunotherapy, very strict diet, acupuncture, lymphatic drainage massage, laser, chiropractic, and supplements. Some of these aren't well known while others are.... even little things like avoiding toxins (drink only spring water, natural toothpaste and deodorant) I am looking into cbd pills (do not have thc) and the epson float baths. If I had to pick my top 3- it would be the holistic immunotherapy, lymphatic drainage massage, and diet/supplements.
