Diagnosed pre-covid, treatment started with methotrexate injections and worked well until we found that it was killing my liver. Since then I've been on all of the major injectable biologics. I've found that "Warm Water" exercises help for some relief of the pain and stiffness. Unfortunately it is short term relief as if only lasts 10-12 hours depending on post therapy activities. Also, the only place within reasonable driving distance has hours that don't match up well with my work schedule. They also charge a membership fee.
I had a friend recommend acupuncture so I'm trying to find one close that will take my insurance.
And I'm trying out a "herbal" blend that is showing some promising results. I'll post the recipe if it continues to work.

That sounds really tough, especially after trying so many options for rheumatoid arthritis. Some people do explore anti-inflammatory diets, gentle exercise, and certain herbal approaches alongside treatment, but results can vary a lot. Opioids can help short term, but you’re right they’re not a long-term fix. Many in patient support communities like Antardhwani find a mix of medical care plus lifestyle changes works better than relying on one approach alone.
What treatment options are available for RA when biologics have stopped working and opioids aren't sustainable?
It sounds like you've been through quite a journey with RA treatments. Since you're open to holistic approaches alongside conventional medicine, there are several options worth exploring with your rheumatologist.
