Hello fellow battlers!
Does any one have any personal experience with dietary changes to assist with RA?!? In the past (& currently) medication, pain management & light exercise is the only way to assist with pain and inflammation, however I have read a lot into autoimmune paleo diets and wondering if any RA sufferers have had any experience? Does it help with the dreaded fatigue?!?
Thank you to all and "You Can Do It!!"

Sorry no I don't have information other than this that may help...

As our immune system is under constant attack due to this illness it's important to keep as healthy as we can and away from other people's illness that we may be susceptible due to our reduced immunity. Therefore I consider what I eat as an important defence and support to becoming ill.

There are some key foods that I use in the recipes that I make and promote on here. ( see my previous posts).

The key foods Garlic, turmeric, Butter, Chia seed, red & white onions, raisins, dates, cheeses, honey various nuts, sunflower seeds,. Cinnamon and nutmeg

Avoid margarine, process foods, salt bleached sugars and and saturated fats.
Trim fat from meats. Remove skin from shop bought chickens.

I hope this helps.

I read a lot about avoiding gluten. I also avoid any store bought gluten free items as most of them are made with Rice Flour which can contribute to inflammation. I try to find Paleo recipes that use coconut flour and almond flour. You have to watch the conversions but from what I read even going gluten free and eating things that are prepared and gluten free can still cause issues.
