I have took my 6th embrel injection today and I noticed another small bubble in there but I thought it was ok, I took the injection and the pen started like vibrating. Does this happen? Was I doing something wrong? Now I have like a little bruise thing and it's sore and like a lump. Does anyone else have this?

Members shared reassuring experiences about the common side effects of Enbrel injections, including bubbles in the pen, lumps, bruising, soreness, and burning sensations, with many emphasizing that these issues are normal and nothing to worry about. Several members offered practical injection techniques that helped reduce discomfort, such as injecting into the stomach instead of the thigh, stretching rather than pinching the skin, using heat packs afterward to reduce lumps, rotating injection sites carefully, and switching from the pen to regular syringes for less pain. A recurring theme was the importance of proper technique, staying calm during injection to avoid tensing up, and consulting with a pharmacist or healthcare provider when uncertain about symptoms.

I always feel better put in the pen in the area of my stomach is fatty tissue I'm not my leg it always bothered me when I try to it use it in my leg and I used it in my stomach many times back and forth from the left to the right left to the right never bother me again. Just food for thought I hope you don't feel anymore pain from your needles.

Yeah it happens every now and again with me- it's nothing to worry about. I assume I just don't inject deep enough/ the right part of the thigh (so it almost feels like it's not gone in properly) I just massage it a bit! It leaves a bruise for a few days but it's fine. Check with the Enbrel pharmacy tomorrow if you're worried but it's always been ok with me x

@A myRAteam Member I use to use the Embrel pen I switched over to the regular injections and it has been by far less painful than the pen.
