Yes, but it didn't work for me. I hope it works for you!
I want to believe this too, that we can heal. I am cautiously optimistic with the no sugar plan and am seeing a functional medicine doctor. I am currently on daily prednisone just to relieve daily pain and stiffness, HCQ, Sulfasalazine, and Diclofenac, oh and awaiting another biologic to be authorized. I just know there is a better way!! God bless us all ❤️
I try hard to pay attention to what I put inside of my body. #FOOD I've lowered my sugar intake. And mentally note when pain occurs... When I can narrow down what caused the pain, I can stay away from it... Just like process of elimination. In doing so I've lost at least 30 pounds since 2019.. recognizing that weight plays a factor is important too...
It's equally important for me to know that over the years, food has changed; and my body is reacting to it. I feel better focusing on root of what's causing the pain.. looking at comments, the recommended medications are not working for most of us. If they are, they come with additional side effects that require addressing too..

I just started month 3 of xejanz, and so far...I am still having significant pain and having to rely on prednisone. Just found out that prednisone use has caused my cholesterol to go way up, but it's the only thing that stops my pain and stiffness! ugh....desperately seeking a NON-pharm solutions! Turmeric? CBD oil? Bee Propolis? Enbrel worked well for me, so if I don't find anything else, it's back to injections. :(
I hope so too. RA is bad enough but everything that comes with it is scary.
