A good friend of mind had both shoulders done not a the same time. She said the last one she did was a said it was so easy. Lots of pain day surgery day after but then she could deal with the pain. Good Luck

Hi, Wanda and Bj, I need to have both shoulders replaced because of 53 years of RA. I have not done it yet because I had not met anyone who had had a Reverse Shoulder repl. because of RA, only people who were very satisfied with the results of the surgery after an accident, which I thought it's not the same. I cannot do my hair or drive because it is very painful to turn the steering wheel. These testimonies are the first ones I hear from people who had the surgery because of damage from RA. They may give me the necessary info for going ahead though the surgeons mentioned one year for complete recovery. Hip surgery and knee surgery were a piece of cake for me. I've had three and all went well WITH THE NECESSARY REHAB! If you don't rehab, the surgery is worthless. Good luck with yours. If I do it first, I'll let all know.
