My best friend takes Cymbalta, and it helps her a lot. I tried it, but it made my blood pressure go up to high. Some people get along with it quite well, while others just cannot take it.
It didn't work for me. Same pain plus chronic diarrhea. Wont do that again!
I have been on Cymbalta for about 2 years and it has helped me. It was prescribed for my fibro pain & OA and it definitely helped my depression & anxiety. I still get some pain but at least I am able to smile about it! I also have sjogren's syndrome but I really didn't find that Cymbalta exacerbated the dry mouth. I did not have any additional side effects from it. For me, I think it helps in combo with all the other meds I take.
I tried Cymbalta it did help my pains, it took the edge off my pains if that makes sense. I still had pains but vaguely. I tried it for about 4 months but I didn't like the headaches. I gained about 10-15 pounds too. But overall I liked it , then I ran into insurance issues recovered like a month later with my meds and it made me zombie like and very nauseated, sad and other side effects, i then decided to discontinue Although it did none of these things my first time around/
It helps me. Taken for about a year now.
