I also get "flushed" when I'm in a flare. Sometimes I even get a squashed cross looking rash on my neck or face. My doctor told me it's not unusual with RA.

Yes-- I get a "flushed" look when I'm flaring and with increased doses of steroids (injected and/or oral).

Yes I have developed red checks and mine get redder when I have to take a higher dose of prednisone! I too also feel flushed!

I get "my face" which my husband, daughter and son all recognize as me going into a flare up. I get a butterfly shaped redness in my face, my neck is harder to notice as I have some skin discoloration from when I worked in a job that got too much sun and shirt starch and sun screen mixed together on my very hot sun light neck. My daughter says she thinks I have rosacea. My face has red cheeks almost all the time anyway. I tone it down with make up cover up some times.
