Terry, is it possible you have another autoimmune disorder along with RA. Your medication can cause a rash as well. Check the side effects of your medication.
I have a facial rash that is red with some bumps. Doc said most likely a prednisone induced rosacea rash from my infusions. Also was on 10 mg of prednisone at time of infusion-now on 5. “Should” go away a few weeks after all prednisone is out of system. We’ll see.😵💫
I have been having rashes on my face and chest and blistering. Some of the facial blisters were quite large and deep. It was determined I have RA, degenerative connective tissue disorder, anemia and low Vitamin D. The perfect storm to cause the issues. Treated with hydroxycloriquin, iron and Vitamin D. It cleared totally up and then recurred. I found out then oral diclofinac causes facial blistering as well as other NSAIDS when constantly taken. So now I’m always flaring up and on steroids.
I have a finger that peels once in a while.. not painful and doesn't itch. Just wierd.
