Yes I do often! I also have nodules pop up in odd spots. Have one now under my eyebrow. Not very visible but hurts. I sometimes have tendons hurt almost as bad as joints.
I get chronic tendonitis in many places. I treat them as they pop up. I have multiple braces that I use. I never throw any away. I use ice - a lot. I have lots of physical therapy and lots of massages.
I know nodules are typical with Severe and moderate RA, also the tendons can get displaced from the swelling of the joints. My doctor says it happens with the fingers and hands s lot because the tendon of the fingers are easily moved. I had one slip under my pinky finger and noting he did or I did would move the finger. Luckily it slid back once the flare was over. What's scary is that I tend to blame everything on my RA, and I often wonder if I'm not having another issue that I might be ignoring. A bad thing I definitely blame on RA IS by the time I'm done with all the appointments, labs, X-ray stuff I have neglected my mammograms, eye appointments, etc. bad habit I'm afraid.
@ MarySimpson. In a word: yes!
I have severe tendonitis in my hands it's horrible. I get random tendon pain all over as well.
