When I first started it, in 2008, it was noticeable in 24 hours. Now, it's not doing a damn thing. Guess it depends on each individual.

Hi Ginny, I am taking Humira weekly for past two year.s.Before that I took it every other week. If you are getting some relief with the smaller dose taking the higher dose should work. I sure hope it does. RA is difficult when you have to change medications. I know I will probably need a different one in the near future.all the best to you. Let me know you do.

Humira works in 2 to 3 weeks. I have taken it for about tens years and iit has just began to become less effective .i don't know what's next or if the Humira will be the best we can do.. I like Humira because I am no side effects.

I started with Embrel and it worked in about a week. I would still be on it but my doctor thought I would have less inflammation with Humira. I did not see any difference between the 2 meds. Methotrexate is the one that can take over a month before any improvement is seen.
