Since I've been diagnosed with RA my white blood cell count has been low. I've been on Zenitel Humira, Orncia, a tents, & currently taking Xeljanz. All these meds made the white blood cell count drop s little lower & I often had to stop the meds till the count got normal. None of my Drs have any suggestions. Anyone else have this trouble or know of anything that will help?
I spelled it wrong initially too ๐
About the B6 it is deficiencies that can reduce wbcs according to what I read on the Internet. Not B6, it is good to take.
I just got my latest blood draw results and all functions, cell counts and electrolytes are normal! Going to keep eating those foods high in Vitamin C!! I can handle the Orencia well then, good to know can bounce back. Would still like a higher wcell count so will experiment with food and see what the next 3 month test results are.
Gamma Globulin.
It supports the immune system to bounce back from chemo. My mom was on it for non- Hodgkin's lymphoma. But I researched it in line and now not sure that is what she was on. Did find low B-6 can cause low white cells. Also C and E help build white cells. Ok I'm eating more strawberries and kiwi and oranges. And taking those B-6 supplements. My white cells are a little down from the Orencia. My mom got nhlymphoma because her white cells were low for decades. RA patients have more incidents of lymphoma. So this is serious stuff here, to manage white cell health. Getting another organic kiwi....
I don't know what gamugloulin is. I'll research it. Thanks. Appreciate an suggestions
What a blessing
I have RA and give myself an injection of methotrexate once a week. I also take Folic Acid 5 days a week. I have been in remission since 2009.
