Lack of sleep can cause stress hormones to increase, while others cannot stay asleep as a side effect of their medication. Starting a dialogue and striving towards better sleep is best done with the support of others with RA who understand what you are going through.

On myRAteam, the social network and online support group for those living with rheumatoid arthritis, members talk about a range of personal experiences and struggles. Insomnia is one of the top 10 topics most discussed.
