Infection

Infection

I have had leukopenia (low white count) for about 8 years. I used to get repeated UTIs so they but me on Macrodantin daily for maintenance. Then, over the past few years I started getting these cysts or pimples on my face. The last six months, they got quite bad, and the only time they would go away was on antibiotics. Other Symptoms

Other Symptoms

What symptoms do people experience.. After getting on this site, I am starting to realise that a lot of the things I experience are RA and not menopause. The hot sweats I experience, which my doc says is menopause, is not menopause. Same with the fatigue and lack of energy. Perth WA is very hot in summer and its unbearable. I don't think sitting under the air conditioner does me much good either but it makes it bearable.

Disabiliy

Disabiliy

In reading so many posts it appears that RA has made most people retire early or stop working. Those of you that had to stop working, did you apply for disability. I worry about the future financially as we still have mortgage payments and much inability to work in the future. Was it difficult?

Ssi Question

Ssi Question

Hi ladies and gentlemen I had a question, so I applied in 2013 for social security disability but grew tired of the process and I needed to work because I am a single mom. Well now I am applying again for disability, I've read about retroactive payments, will that include as far back as 2013? I got a lawyer and he's very enthused about my case makes it seem we are getting a lot lol so I am just curious how far they pay you? Recently my health has gone more south, just recently got diagnosed with… read more
