How soon does tendon repair have to take place once it has become detached ... and after how long a period of detachment is it no longer a viable operation?
What was the first clue it was helping?
Since being diagnosed, I’ve had rotator cuff repair, tibial tendon repair x 2 on the same ankle, a tear in my labrum on my hip which was repaired this past May, but now i need a hip replacement. I’m only 51. Should i expect many more surgeries?
I also had a subarachnoid bleed and stroke that the doctors tell me isn’t related. I’m afraid of my future and just wondering what others have gone through😟
My elbows have been sore for several days now. When I fully extend my arm the joint locks and then it's difficult to get it to straighten. I then hear a snapping noise and it releases. Certain angles make it hurt worse, for example of I turn to reach something. Since this started both of my forearms ache constantly like pulled muscles. My first appointment with the rheumatologist is coming up soon and my family doctor just said to wait for that to check it out.
Does anyone else have ganglion cysts on joints? Is this a RA thing? What does a RA nodule look and feel like? It's on the outside ankle joints of both ankles. And I I have one that is on the inside of my elbow bend (right next to the vein they draw blood from) that hurts. They've all appeared in the last 2 months. I had one on the top of my wrist this fall, but it has gone way down.
Any info would be great.
Anyone else notice muscles and tendons popping and or crackling? They seem to bother me more than my joints. I actually dont have any problems with my joints. I am constantly finding myself stretching to find some kind of relief from the muscles and tendon stiffness and aches.
My Dr said she could remove my severely damaged feet joints fuse them put in steel rods and stop this horrible pain. Anyone had this surgery? I keep getting stress fractures and my joints are shot.
Does anyone suffer with random chronic pain in tendons throughout their body?
I have tons of popping and cracking when moving my arm in different directions. Xrays show total degeneration. Pain wakes me up at night, and intensifies if I use my arm more than normal or with weight added. Pretty sure there are some tears in rotator cuff based on symptoms. Doc just ordered MRI. What does the MRI show that determines a replacement needed versus rotator cuff surgery? Thanks for helping me understand.
