Does anyone else take immune support supplements?

Does anyone else take immune support supplements?

Being an early elementary school teacher, I've always been concerned about boosting my immune system. Now that I'm taking steroids and a biologic, I'm even more concerned. I was wondering if anyone else has tried supplements, and if they've found any that really make a difference.

Diet?

Diet?

DIET? Does anyone know of a particular diet or book (nutrition-wise) that can explain to me what I should be eating or avoiding? I asked my rheumatologist if I could see a dietician/nutritionist about an "anti-inflammatory" diet and he basically told me that there wasn't any medical basis to those. I felt like I had wandered into some weird or inappropriate territory, somehow?! I have already cut out gluten, dairy, msg, preservatives, fake sugar, and most caffeine. But I recently read that I should not eat… read more

How does everyone else deal with brain fog? Anything help?

How does everyone else deal with brain fog? Anything help?

My Dr. put me on a Paleo diet just to eliminate junk. It does help a little & really helps IBS issues - just not so much with the brain fog.

Question on Diet and RA?

Question on Diet and RA?

So my Rheumatologist is against the theory that diet (elimination) can help or has caused RA, even though there is a lot of research on studies done that prove otherwise. Have any of you tried seeing a wellness, natural healing doc? I know most insurance don't cover this which is why I haven't gotten an opinion from one. What supplements can be taken that help? I'm just having trouble believing that nothing natural like foods and supplements can help this disease... I'm at war in my mind… read more

My mum has RA and Fibromyalgia etc so it runs in the family.
