I've been contacted by a company that does a Stem Cell Therepy and they wanted me to go in and talk to them about doing stem cell Therepy to regrow damaged cartilage. Has anyone tried it and what were the results?
I haven't been driving because of it. So I haven't been able to see my family as they live far and I drive there. Also for work it's made it difficult to not drive. I drive a Mazda 5 minivan. The top of the stick shift also has to be adapted. I decided to sell it and look for another car or an SUV. I've been to occupational therapy she doesn't know how to adapt it. I have been dealing with Tendinitis in both my upper legs between my knees and hips. Does anyone else with RA suffer with this? It is very painful.
I also use elbow and knee sleeves. Prednisone is another add on Dr prescribed. Though says, its just tendinitis ", kind hurts that he says that. Wishing you a good today and better tomorrow.

I got a Depo-Medrol shot- 3mls in my bottom- on Monday. I was told that I would have relief between 24-48 hours. However, it's been 4 days and I haven't had any relief. I lay in bed for three hours last night in terrible pain, wondering if I was going crazy and all of this pain is in my head.
Have any of you had cortisone injections that didn't work? Could you shed some light for me on reasons why it didn't work? Does it not working mean that my pain isn't actually RA or it's not pain from… read more
Has anyone tried Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for help in dealing with the pain, exhaustion and all of the emotional tolls these things take on us?
I have an upcoming appointment with one, next week I think, I need help and hope she can give me some ideas, suggestions that will help.
Also, has any had experience with a pain management program?

I cannot tolerate physical therapy especially of the spine. I've had surgeries and I'm sure that has contributed. PT just aggravates my fibromyalgia and magnifies my pain.
I go to a specific arthritis program at the hospital. I tried traditional Physio; however it did not work for me. Check with your local arthritis society for programs near you.
