I haven't been driving because of it. So I haven't been able to see my family as they live far and I drive there. Also for work it's made it difficult to not drive. I drive a Mazda 5 minivan. The top of the stick shift also has to be adapted. I decided to sell it and look for another car or an SUV. I've been to occupational therapy she doesn't know how to adapt it. I got a Depo-Medrol shot- 3mls in my bottom- on Monday. I was told that I would have relief between 24-48 hours. However, it's been 4 days and I haven't had any relief. I lay in bed for three hours last night in terrible pain, wondering if I was going crazy and all of this pain is in my head.

Has anyone tried Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for help in dealing with the pain, exhaustion and all of the emotional tolls these things take on us?
I have an upcoming appointment with one, next week I think, I need help and hope she can give me some ideas, suggestions that will help.
