I have a question for anyone who may experience the same symptoms as I. When my menstrual cycle appears I have rheumatoid flare symptoms. My feet swell, I feel very tired, my hands and wrists are nearly disabled by the stiffness and pain. Do any of you experience those symptoms?
I am seronegative ra. My rheumatologist even has mentioned that. Why does he always put Inflamatory arthritis as my diagnosis? My numbers were nearly high enough to be positive My ana is positive, and I have multiple advanced joint erosions. It kind of irritated me when another person I know went to the same place with very similar labs and results as myself and had instant ra diagnosis, all kinds of options offered, etc. Such as biologics. I can't seem to find any job that doesn't severely effect my RA. I've done pretty much every job from desk work to serving and all of them effect me in one way or another. I'm feeling really helpless and worried for the future. I'm on disability but 930 isn't nearly enough money to live on even in the poor part of town. I've had RA for nearly 30 years, several surgeries, and have been on many different meds: currently, prednisone (married to it), Orencia, and Methotrexate. Neck pain started several months ago, specifically, the joints behind the ears. My Rheumy injected my trigger points, and it worked for a few weeks.
