I have been told that I have a torn acl and torn meniscus that will require surgery. Has anyone had either or both of these conditions and had surgery for them? If so, how was the surgery and how long was your recovery?
Surgeon recommends mid foot fusion surgery for severe pain due to arthritis and inflammation. I am a nurse who works 2 jobs and cannot take a few months off. Going to try to hold out as long as possible.
I was diagnosed with RA in 2016. Was in denial until I had a flair that sent me to the emergency room in 2017. Locked up ! I tried Cannibus and CBD oil for a while but logistics ended that. I’ve now been on Methothotrexate ( 8 pills a week ) since August of 2017, and Humira ( 1 shot every 2 weeks ), since January of this year. Should I be taking Folic acid with this RX? If, so how much?
I'm not on any meds due to breastfeeding and extreme pain is back I cant lift my arm and can't do anything with it and also dragging my left leg coz of the pain..please help me
I take 6 methotrexate once a week and take sulphasaladine 1 tab in the morning and 2 @night. Otherwise I take 1(100) mg Celebrex twice a day.
I was taken by ambulance two nights ago with the feeling I was having a heart attack the blood work came back normal heart rhythm was OK but my blood pressure was high. They think that it may have been my rheumatoid arthritis putting pressure on my chest as it may have inflamed the chest cavity has anybody else had issues with this it scared me to death no pun intended.
I'm curious, what treatments have worked for y'all? I have been on methotrexte, enbrel & folic acid for a year now & I still get horribly sick each week after treatment. I'm 24 years old & I just want to live my life as normal as possible.
