First shot today. Just wondering what I can expect. Had an allergic reaction to one of my meds. My RA has flared and this is the decision to get me through the pain. Just wondering
I have a large dimple on my arm that my rheumatologist said it is probably from the depo medrol injection I got a couple of months ago. She said it could take 6 months plus to go away. Has anyone else experienced this? Did it go away?
What are the serious side effects that I read when someone is teetering off Prednisone or Medrol after being on it pretty much for 3 to 4 years straight? Was on Prednisone for 4-5 years. Stopped helping a lot. Switched to Methylprednisolone (Medrol) about 4 months ago and now trying to taper off it. Within two days severe headaches started. This happened once trying to taper off Prednisone. Anyone else experienced this? My rheumy says she never heard of this as a reaction.
Is it a bad sign that i am on 3rd dose of steroids in 6 weeks? My symptoms are crazy.... one 9 day course of 60mg, 40mg, 20mg, a depo medrol shot, and now today another 9 day course of 30, 20, and 10.
I still have not been put on a regular medication and just hanging in there till next rheumy appointment. 4 weeks to go
