I'm getting conflicting answers from my rheumatologist and my primary care doctors about taking Kevxara and getting Covid-19. My primary care doctor has told me that because I am taking Kevzara that I can't get Covid-19. On the other hand I asked my rheumatologist that very same question. Can I get Covid while on Kevzara? My rheumatologist says yes, you can still get Covid-19 while on Kevzara. So my question is, who do I believe?? I'm stunned in hearing two different answers who come from the… read more
I dont know the answer, but i got both shots. My opinion you can get the virus. Its best to be safe and get the vaccine. Than to not have it and get sick or die.
Has anyone taken Kevzara? Did it work ? Any side effects? My doc wants to switch me from Rituxan to Kevzara so the vaccine could have better results. Any one done this ?
I am also on Humira and have been on 3 other meds and I am still in pain do you think this could help me

Is anyone currently taking or have been prescribed the IL-6 inhibitor biologic RA medication, Kevzara, the manufacturer is Sanofi? If so, is it working, how long did it take for you to notice that your disease seems to be getting under control, and did anyone notice any specific side effects. I'm currently taking the medication, and have 3 injections.

I just started 1st shot today. Just wondering if anyone has had side effects or how long it takes to kick in?
Humira took about 3 months to start working. My levels are good but I still have pain.
