RA rings

RA rings

Has anyone tried the rings for painful locking "trigger finger" and do they work? I've been trying to find a stockist in the UK to buy one, preferably online, but the only sellers I can find are in the USA. The post and packing's really expensive and so is the customs duty charge.
I currently wear finger splints, but they look unsightly and have to be taken off before washing hands.
If anyone knows of a UK seller, please let me know.

Canes/walking sticks

Canes/walking sticks

Hello, I live in Georgia there is many hills and I'm noticing that I'm having many issues with my knees and hips ankles and toes and bottom of my feets so I'm scared of walking I'm holding on to things because it seems that I'm stumbling and I'm in pain in those areas so my question is do I ask my rheumatologist for a prescription for a cane or do I purchase one myself?

Newly diagnosed - what should I be asking the rheumatologist?

Newly diagnosed - what should I be asking the rheumatologist?

I'm so new with this, I'm not even sure of what to ask. Updated to provide a bit of background: I've been having joint pain, mostly in my left knee and toes, for a few years. I've mentioned it to my doctor pretty much every visit, as well as being tired, etc. The answer, at least a couple of years ago, was to take 800 mg of ibuprofen three times a day. Then I noticed I couldn't wear some of my dress shoes, because of the way my big toe joint sticks out.… read more
