Doc said I was a Mx failure since my joints still hurt after being on Mx for five months. Tried Humira but had hiccup coughs shortly after injections and then broke out in poison ivy like hives had the same reactions but worse after the second injection. Hives biopsied and was allergic. Has anyone found they get an increase in disease activity or a flare a few days after their Cimzia infections? I've just realized that the worst time I've had recently has been around 3-4 days after each injection and lasts for 5-8 days or so. I've only been on Cimzia four around 2.5mths, I think I'm around 6 weeks past my last loading dose.
Just curious to know if anyone else experiences this? It is not mentioned as a possible side effect in the product information.

So my Dr wanted me to take Enbrel but United health care wont cover it until I try Humira and Cimzia first and they prove to not work. Or they work and I keep using them. Dont you love that insurance companies can prescribe meds now???!!!

Has anybody taken cimzia? And how well did it work for you?
Has anyone failed a couple tnf blockers ,like humira and enbrel, then had success with a third one? I know they say after failing at least 2 decreases the chances with a 3rd one, but has it worked for anyone?? I know you can build up antibodies to them. What about cimzia. Since it's pegylated, it's supposed to mask it from your immune system.
