That is a good question. My doctor prescribed
Tylenol 3 for my pain. Trouble with that is after a while it doesn't work.

I cannot use NSAIDS or
aspirin derivatives. Looking for something that is a counterirritant. Like camphor or menthol.
I find that emu oil works on the lesser pains in wrists or fingers for daily use

I take a baby
aspirin daily but not for RA, because I had open heart surgery and have a blockage in my leg.

If you are having bladder pain but test negative for UTI they probably want to check for Interstitial Cystitis.

Methotrexate? And over the counter things help anyone? Thank you.
I had to stop
Methotrexate because my liver enzymes were off. I am on Plaquenil now. I also use Voltarin cream.

My neurologist just gave me a suggestion to relieve my neuropathy pain. Desolve 10 full strength
aspirin in wintergreen alcohol and soak your feet in it. Has anyone heard of or tried this?
