Has Anyone Experienced This? My Tongue And Roof Of My Mouth Are So Sore!

I am newly diagnosed (by my primary care physician) and am still waiting to get in with a rheumatologist. Idk if this is a symptom of my RA but never had this until now.

Has Anyone Experienced Elevated Liver Enzymes From Your RA Meds Or NSAIDs & If So What Was Your Treatment Options?

Has Anyone Experienced Elevated Liver Enzymes From Your RA Meds Or NSAIDs & If So What Was Your Treatment Options?

I found out today that my liver enzyme levels have more than doubled since the last time I was tested. I don't drink or smoke and exercise almost everyday. I take plaqunil and arthrotec daily but not a full dose of arthrotec. anyone else have liver enzymes and what was the treatment choice other than going off meds?

A myRAteam Member said:

My liver enzymes were up so I increased exercise and lost 10 pounds on Weight Watchers and my liver enzymes were normal. I have a recheck in July so I will see if that was the answer.

How Do You Get Out Of A Flare?

How Do You Get Out Of A Flare?

I have had a flare that has lasted all summer. I had cortisone shots in my knees and oral prednisone, but that didn't help. What helped you? My knees are killing me and I can barely walk. I am a teacher, and I'm thinking of not going back to school. I'm exhausted all the time. I don't know how long this flare will last. Any suggestions?

Can RA In Your Neck Affect Your Eyes And Cause Pain And Sensitivity To Light?

Can RA In Your Neck Affect Your Eyes And Cause Pain And Sensitivity To Light?

Does anyone have or know if Arthritis in your neck can affect your eyes and cause a lot of pain. I feel that there is a correlation between my eye pain and neck pain. My eyes are healthy with no explanation for pain, other than arthritic pain in my neck. It's just getting worse everyday, and becoming unbearable. Should I see a rheumatologist for this?

Tinnitus And RA, Does The Sound Level Of Your Timmitus Increase With Flare-ups?

I have had tinnitus long before developing RA and can always tell when a flare-up is coming by the increased sound level. Has anyone else experience this or a similar reaction?

So, I don't have RA, but a related arthritic disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis. Does anyone else have this? What meds and/or diet have you adopted since being diagnosed?
