Developed Tremors, Anyone Else Have This?

I have had arthritis my entire life, and in the last few weeks have developed something sorta new.... Hand and body tremors. before This would only happen if I way over caffeinated myself, and even then the tremors felt different. In the last, id say 5 years, I did start having tremors once in a while - just cant stop shaking, but it never lasted. in the last few weeks, since after my bad flare up and being on prednisone (I am now off it) I have had the tremors constantly, to varying degrees… read more

Hair Loss Plaquenil

Hair Loss Plaquenil

I’ve been on plaquenil for 4 months. My hair has been falling out a lot, I really mean a lot (500-600 strands/day). i can already see parts of my scalp. 😢😞stopped plaquenil today hoping the hair loss will stop. Not sure what’s gonna happen to the joint pain but willing to take the risk. I’m 33 and the hair loss is distroying me. Has anyone stopped plaquenil because of hair loss? If so, has the hair stopped falling? Help please...

A myRAteam Member said:

Depression & Talking To Your RA Doctor

Depression & Talking To Your RA Doctor

For the last 3-4 weeks I have really been struggling with deep depression, crying, not eating, & excessive sleeping. I was diagnosed with RA about 2 years ago & presently taking methotrexate & prednisone. My question is, should I discuss my problems with my RA specialist or go to my family doctor. I just cannot deal with this depression much longer. My husband & others tell me to shake it off, but it's not that easy. Any recommendations or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

A myRAteam Member said:

You need to see your family doctor and may need counselling and antidepressants. I believe that most people with a pain condition are on antidepressants because we’re depressed.
