I've now been on Humira since mid June, and I see my rheumatologist next week. He's going to ask if I feel like the Humira is working, and I don't know how to answer him. Most days my pain and swelling are down, but I also have a lot of breakthrough pain, and it's popped up in places where I wasn't having it before.
How do you decide whether or not your meds are "working/helping" or if it's time to try something else?
Hey first time asking a question. Has anyone experienced blurred and disruptive vision while on Amalimumab (amgevita) injections?
Does anyone suffer from side effects after taking the Enbrel injections? I've been getting severely achy. General malaise. It has a tendency to wake me up. Tonight I also feel like I have a low grade fever.
In have been on these injections for about 4 months now and have in the past 2-3 weeks developed an incredibly itchy rash. I have a few patches that look a bit like eczema (never had eczema before) and are driving me mad with almost constant itching. Has anyone else had this? Does it go away? Any success with the injection treatment?
Any response would be helpful!!
Since going on humira amgevita injections I have gained weight and can not shift it anyone else any advice?
I am on Amgivita at present, a self injecting biologic, but it is not controlling flare ups. All oral meds have had to be abandoned for one reason or another. Been on steroids since last April, not good.
I have had RA 3 years now. I have been prescribed hydroxicloriquine - caused confusion, methatrextrate - caused migraines (real stinkers), sulfasaladine - nausea and low blood count, lefudamite - low blood count, amgivita - a biologic, had no effect and now on baricitinib - a biologic taken for 1 month and no improvement. Has anyone tried Devil's Claw supplement and is it effective at reducing the inflammation? Is it suitable to use with prescription medication?
