Stomach issues can also show up during a flare. One myRAteam member noted that during a flare they had "tons of belly issues" including uncomfortable bloating.

Being sick can also trigger an RA flare, which may explain the extended fatigue. As one myRAteam member put it, "I think many of us would say that being sick can bring on a flare." Here are some things worth considering:

- Talk to your rheumatologist if the fatigue and stomach issues persist or keep coming back
- Track your symptoms β€” noting when fatigue hits and how long it lasts can help identify patterns or triggers
- Rest when your body needs it β€” pushing through prolonged fatigue can make things worse
- Mention the stomach issues too β€” your doctor may want to review your medications, as some RA treatments can affect the stomach

It's always a good idea to flag anything unusual to your doctor, especially when symptoms last nearly a week.
