Can you do Simponi by it's self? Metheltrexate does not like me. Tried it.

The prescribing guidelines state that both drugs need to be used together to get the full benefit of the treatment. However, this is absolutely a conversation worth having with your rheumatologist. Since methotrexate hasn't worked for you, your doctor may consider alternative options. There are other medications that can be paired with biologics like Simponi, and your doctor is best placed to find the right combination for your situation.

Don't give up — there are usually other paths forward when one treatment doesn't agree with you! 💪
