I am trying to determine if there is an actual difference between the fabric used in those items and what products that are currently working for me as they are not made with any bamboo material or fabric.

As a seamstress I love working with bamboo. Breathes soft moisture wicking. Just a pleasure to touch

I get my regular socks that are bamboo. They don’t bother my feet.

I used the bamboo gloves when my hands were at their worse! The gloves sure felt good! I slept in them & I will say they are warm.....my hands were not under the covers for sure. I believe these helped my hands not to be stiff & painful the next morning. Got them on Amazon.

Great question! When it comes to compression socks and gloves for RA, the compression level and fit tend to matter more than the specific fabric used.

Great question! When it comes to compression socks and gloves for RA, the compression level and fit tend to matter more than the specific fabric used.

Bamboo fabric is known for being:

- Soft and gentle on sensitive skin
- Moisture-wicking, which helps keep feet dry
- Breathable and temperature-regulating
- Naturally antimicrobial If the products currently working for you are providing good compression, cushioning, and comfort, switching to bamboo may not offer a dramatic difference in terms of RA symptom relief.

That said, bamboo could be worth exploring if skin sensitivity or moisture is a concern. A myRAteam member noted that compression gloves helped reduce both pain and swelling, suggesting the compression itself is the key benefit regardless of material.

It's always worth checking with your doctor before switching, especially with compression products, as fit and compression strength are critical for circulation.
