Girl YESS!! personally it is truly the ONLY thing that makes me not feel pain. It doesn't bother any of the other meds I'm taking. If you're going to start with edibles, I recommend to have a flavorful drink or snack next to you because the taste of an edible is atrocious and you need to get the taste out your mouth immediately.

What are people's experiences using THC gummies for RA pain relief?

Many people with RA have explored cannabis-based options, including THC products, as part of their pain management approach. While experiences vary widely, some myRAteam members have found cannabis helpful alongside their regular RA treatments.

One myRAteam member shared that it took 13 years to find the right pain treatment, eventually combining CBD oil with other approaches. Another mentioned supplementing their biologic infusions with cannabis "now and then" as part of a broader wellness routine. It's worth keeping a few important things in mind with THC gummies specifically:

- Drug interactions β€” THC/cannabis can potentially interact with RA medications, possibly making them less effective or causing other concerns
- Side effects β€” These can include changes in mood, appetite, drowsiness, dry mouth, nausea, and anxiety
- Legality β€” THC legality varies by location, unlike CBD
- Research gaps β€” Solid clinical studies in RA patients are still limited

Pain management alone won't slow RA progression β€” that still requires disease-modifying treatments prescribed by a rheumatologist.

Always check with your rheumatologist before adding THC gummies to your routine, especially if you're on DMARDs or biologics.
