I don't remember when I was on it. It did work for me for less than a year, and I had to change. Every med I have taken has been the same, work for a while but then is tapers off.
Great question! The generic versions of Humira (adalimumab biosimilars) work the same way as the original, as they belong to the TNF-alpha inhibitor class of biologics.
Biologics like adalimumab typically start showing effects within 2 to 6 weeks, with some people noticing changes even within a few days of the first dose.
Show Full AnswerHi I am on the generic of humaira I don’t think it’s working at all now but it took about 2-3 months to start to work. Worked well until I needed to be off for a month due to hip replacement so quiet in mid June started again in mid July but the flares are one after another. I have two more surgeries coming this fall so I’ll be off again 2 x s As soon as I’m able to go back on I’ll ask the dr to change it.
Take care Hugs
Same here! Do they give you a reason why? Have you found anything lately that works?
