This morning I began having a hard flair take place in my hand into my wrist. I managed to calm down some of the discomfort but it has still been sticking around.
What I did was massage Biofreeze gel into my hand and the wrist then take a Tylenol. I did a bit more with using the Biofreeze a few hours later but have left it be since.

i find intense heat to be so comforting.
I have some gel gloves that I put in the fridge and use them when hands swell.
I use Vicks vapor rub on my joints. It does help. When I have anything respiratory wise I use it. I used to rub it on my feet. It does work opening your sinuses up and you can get high with the smell
I have used Creams & Salves with Arnica in them. A couple also have Menthol which I kind of like the cooling sensation. Try cold. Try heat. Try a hot bath with Epsom Salts. Massage more BioFreeze as needed and continue with Tylenol. My best advice. I wish you relief @A myRAteam Member!
If you have a hearing loss it is important to get hearing aids, as the pathways in your brain die if not used. Studies show this leads to Alzheimers. I am 82 and have worn hearing aids since I was 39 years old. My tests show I am profoundly deaf in both ears but with my hearing aids I can at least converse in a quieter situation. I smile a lot when I can't hear and nod my head in agreement!
