Is trigger finger with sharp throbbing pain a sign that RA is worsening?

Trigger finger is caused by tenosynovitis which can be linked to RA. My MRI showed tenosynovitis in all fingers of both hands along with bone marrow edema in my wrist and fingers. These findings helped my doctors decide on RA since my blood work has always been negative. It took 7 years for a diagnosis. ๐
tonya, my first diagnosis in 2015 was sero positive, then last year in flipped and they do not know what causes it
I had trigger finger and no it is not always something related to RA. It is the tendon and overuse. I went to a hand orthopedic specialist and received a steroid injection after a few weeks normal no problem since. My RA is in remission
