I had my 1st methotrexate shot today. I take of my 2yr old granddaughter when she is sick. How do I help boost my immune system

Bonds57, One big difference in MTx pills and injections are the side effects. I haven't taken it in a long time, but nausea was the big one for me. There were a lot less problems with nausea when I started the injections.

How is the methotrexate shot different than taking methotrexate pills. I was on the methotrexate and the folic acid before I started doing the embrel shots. Have read before that you can mix the methotrexate with the embrel shots. I have my next RA appointment in March. I think I might ask the doctor about this. Have a great day!
