I recently started plaquenil and have mouth sores since I started it. I don't know if it's a coincidence or side effect. Anybody know?

The hydroxycloriquine did not cause mouth sores, but the Teyenne does sometimes. If it gets bad tell your doctor. Sometimes if the drug is helping with the fatigue and helping the inflammation and pain if RA you will need to make a choice. I'm there now. Trying to decide are the side effects of the drug out way the help. 🤷‍♀️

Nearly all RA meds that I have taken has caused mouth sores. Most of them causes upset stomach when you first start taking them. Usually after a few weeks it does get better for some people.
I use biotene for mouth sores. Keep your teeth brushed and drink plenty of fluids especially if you have loose stools. Good luck
