I took methotrexate by mouth with folic acid and after about six months I had a huge amount of hair loss.
I did wear wigs and then I shaved all my hair off, changed meds, and won't ever go back on it.
Thank God,, my hair grew back, but is thinner on top!.

I did weekly injections of Methotrexate for a year & took 4mg Folic Acid daily & never had any hair loss. Hoping you won't either.

Marilyn in my case, not only have I never lost any hair with methotrexate, by adding the folic acid my hair seems thicker than before!

I took Folic Acid while on methotroxate a n d it helped. It was gradual loss my ponytail was half as thick as it usually is. On the other meds Dr said folic doesn't help so quit taking it. Hair all over furniture and any vehicle I get into

I have a little.loss of strands but not enough to make huge difference at all. Hopefully you won't either
