Paula, you have been going through so much. Glad that you can see clearly now. Congrats on the weight loss and bump in energy levels. It’s great that you have a good roommate. I’m sorry for your losses. It’s very sad to lose loved ones. I hope the injections help. I get them too. Advanced degenerative disc disease, torn hip labrum, tear in my knee with a Baker’s cyst. It never ends, does it?
Hi Paula. My optometrist has been treating me for dry eye for 2 years. It isn’t improving. He believes it’s Sjogrens and urged my rheumatologist to check me for it. I’m getting labs done for it but I know it was negative when I was diagnosed with RA 4 1/2 years ago. I’m okay. I feel off but I don’t know what’s happening. Maybe it’s hormonal? It’s hard to tell since I had a hysterectomy 2 years ago. I still have my ovaries. I don’t know. I just feel discouraged because I’m feeling so strange. How are you? You’ve been going through a lot. Tell me what’s happening with you.

My dentist and optometrist both think I have it, but they said my rheumatologist should be the one to check into it. I mentioned to the rheumatologist and his PA. They both were dismissive and acted like it’s nothing. I don’t know 🤷♀️ Of course he also diagnosed me with scleroderma and doesn’t monitor it or say if it requires treatment.
My rheumatologist, pulmonologist and my ENT docs have all said I have Sjogrens. With no blood work, just by my symptoms.
