I've been on methotrexate 20 mgs once a week for a year now. My RA doctor
told me to skip my dose anytime I plan to get a vaccine. I think she said
it would make the vaccine less effective. Usually take it on Mondays
skipped it and got my flu vaccine on Thursday. Will probably start back on
MTX on Tuesday instead of Monday this time. She also told me anytime I
feel like I'm coming down with an illness to skip my dose.
