Good afternoon all, since my neuropathy diagnosis, I've had sharp pains in both feet, especially at night. It feels like volts of electricity and my leg kicks out. The nerve pain is awful. My neurologist prescribed amitriptyline 50 mg. I took half and did i have side effects! My emotions went crazy, crying, yelling, slamming things down. I felt like Dr. Jeckle and Mrs . Hyde. I stopped immediately, but the nerve pain has returned. I went back to my old standby, Tylenol Xtra strength. I hope all have a great day.
