They are both inflammatory conditions. I read that a 2022 study suggests a possible link that people with eczema potentially have a 72% higher risk of developing RA than those without eczema but not the other way around but not enough is known right now to be sure. Strangely about 5 years before I was officially diagnosed with RA I had developed eczema out of nowhere.

Rheumatoid Arthritis does not cause eczema. But studies have shown that people with eczema tend to have rheumatoid arthritis
