- Try gentle massage around (not directly on) the area
- Use over-the-counter pain relief if needed
- Keep moving to boost circulation
- Rotate injection sites Some myRAteam members also report burning sensations, particularly on the scalp and skin. This can be related to RA itself or sometimes a side effect of treatments. If lumps persist beyond two weeks, become red/purple, hot, or increasingly painful, it's important to consult with your doctor as these could indicate an infection or need medical attention.
