The symptoms you're describing sound like a serious allergic reaction to the biologic medication. These types of reactions can include:
- Difficulty breathing
- Swelling
- Chest tightness
- Dizziness
- Fever or chills

It's good that you've stopped the injections and are seeking alternative treatment. Always report serious reactions like these to your healthcare team immediately. There are several alternative biologic options available that work through different mechanisms. Common options include:
- Orencia (abatacept)
- Rituxan (rituximab)
- Remicade (infliximab)
- Actemra (tocilizumab)

Each targets different parts of the immune system, so if one causes reactions, another may work better for you. Your rheumatologist can help determine which alternative might be most appropriate based on your reaction history.
