I have been getting Simponi Aria infusions every 3 months for about a year. I do not feel it is helping as much as it should so my Rheumatologist sent a request for insurance to cover Cimzia (not sure of spelling) that is a shot once a month. Of course insurance has denied this. What medication to you use that you have seen good results from that doesn't have huge side effects. We all react to these drugs differently , so trying is the only way.I know it is not fun, but you will get one that helps you!
I have been on so many over time years but some helped for quite a while. Now…my body only seems to allow Methotrexate now, and not sure it is doing much ,until I stop it!! I have had some heavy drugs that worked for over 3 years. There is hope ,and we should at least try I know it is scary, but we don’t seem to have other options!
