Quick question: CBD is ok, but avoid THC- what is the reasoning behind it!

I hope that the oral works, I am going to try it, I asked my pain mgmt doctor if it was ok and she said as long as it doesn’t have any THC in it I can try it and see, so I have someone knowledgeable looking into it for me and man it’s kinda expensive but hey if it works I guess it’s worth it, so I will let you all know once I get it and try , I am getting the low dose first.
